Tuned In: Girl Power!

In case you didn't know, March is Women's History Month. Go us! So to commemorate this estrogen-powered month, I made up a massive playlist of my very favorite women artists. Obviously this isn't an ultra-comprehensive list, but I've tried to include women from a number of different genres, from old to new. I've even included some of my beautiful mama's very favorite artists as well! See if you can't tell which ones I chose for her (in case it wasn't painfully obvious). My mom has always had a pretty fantastic taste in music, and got me into female singers from a very young age. Thanks, Mom!

Lex said...: Great list! So happy to see Tegan and Sara there already, they are my absolute fave! Some other female artists that come to mind are Joan Jett, Cindy Lauper, and Ingrid Michaelson (The Way I Am is such a sweet song!)
