Oh, Tannenbaum ...

Yeah yeah, I'm well aware it's not even Thanksgiving yet, but I can't resist any longer!  A lot of these have probably already been on other blogs, but here are a few gorgeous Christmas trees that I'd love to have any day.

Mmm mmm Monday!

I know it's been awhile ... but I'm not entirely sure anyone reads this anyway!  ;]  Here's a delish recipe for homemade hot chocolate from Food Network's Ellie Krieger. This is seriously tasty ... I'm getting ready for a cup right now!

Hot Chocolate
1 cup lowfat milk
1 cinnamon stick
2 tsp. unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. water
1/4 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Dark chocolate, for garnish

Directions
Heat the milk and the cinnamon stick until just simmering. In a mug, combine the cocoa powder, sugar and water and stir to make a paste. Remove the cinnamon stick from the milk. Pour the milk into the mug and stir to mix well. Add the vanilla extract and stir. Grate a little dark chocolate on top for garnish.
